blankspace is one of our newest gallery partners. A London-based online art gallery and printmaker, blankspace focuses on supporting emerging and young artists by offering a digital platform through which artists can sell their artwork and gain exposure.
blankspace is taking advantage of Artory’s innovative feature: cryptographic signing for artists. By inviting artists to cryptographically sign, the artists’ unique digital signatures are immutably linked to their artwork information on the blockchain. This signature allows artists to verify the information about their artworks in a space that cannot be manipulated or changed by outside parties. Additionally, when an artist signs a record on Artory, the record becomes a digital certificate of authenticity which can be claimed by collectors. Beyond just the benefits of data protection, cryptographic signing creates an added layer of connection between artists and their collectors.
